Tag Reference

When stock items are purchased and booked in to the warehouse, each batch of items are assigned a unique numeric Tag ID. This can be used to identify each batch of purchased items, stored in the company stores.

To make this identification process more user friendly, user defined prefix can be assigned to this tag reference. By assigning each supplier a tag prefix, and labeling stored item with the full tag reference, helps to easily identify stored items during the warehouse picking process.

Using the system assigned, numeric part of the tag reference, specific batches of items may be identified within the stock adjustment options.

Although the full tag reference makes a particular item batch to be easily identified in a warehouse, you only need the numeric part of the tag reference, created by the system to locate the desired batch.
